Plan, manage and report on all aspects of User Acceptance Testing of this strategic programme.
  • Coordination of all activities and dependencies of UAT is needed to ensure the successful acceptance of the delivery by the business owners, which is a multiple component and technology solution.
  • Supporting defined test strategies, in line with the programme delivery and test approach, is required to ensure the alignment of resource, environments and the required activities.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Have 15+ years of industry experience.
  • Experienced in IT delivery supporting business transformation programme.
  • Understand SDLC in depth to be able to help taking strategic decision.
  • Strong knowledge of the big scale front to back trading platform having
    • multi-tier architecture developed using JAVA, .NET, ORACLE, TIBCO EMS technology.
    • Capability of processing whole trade life cycle i.e. from trade capture till settlements.
  • Python scripting knowledge is must. Should be able to use existing/develop new python based API automation.
  • Splunk or any Elastic search engine experience to build reports using advance visual technology.
  • Strong stakeholder and people management skills.
  • Background in supporting business testing and acceptance.
  • Experience using multiple resource models including domestic, offshore, onshore and multi-country teams.
  • Experienced in test management.
  • Sound knowledge on Commodity trading domain.
  • Ability to apply testing processes and terminology to practical scenarios, supported by excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to report and support communication to multiple levels of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification of UAT stakeholders and resource.
  • Ensure stakeholders fully understand the purpose of UAT and process to run UAT smoother.
  • Identification and approval of UAT scope.
  • Capture and planning of UAT preparation and test activities.
  • Producing and obtaining approval for plans and schedules.
  • Creation of UAT artefacts in line with industry standards.
  • Coordination of resources required to prepare environments and data.
  • Report on progress to varying levels of stakeholders through the programme.
  • Support triage of defects and issues.
  • Run retrospective meets post each UAT to capture learnings and improvise it in subsequent UATs.
  • Standardize UAT Approach across other initiatives if required.
  • Coordinate UAT approach for detailed UAT planning.
  • Regular catch up with users to complete prep and execution activities as planned.
